Group consultations – FAQ’s

What is it?

  • A group session with a GP and/or nurse with a small group of people (5-10) with the same medical condition as yourself so that we can understand our health better and support each other.

Where is it?

  • At your surgery, Dunrobin Street Medical Centre.

When is it?

  • Wednesdays from 2-4 pm.

What do I have to do for this?

  • Be able to attend the surgery at the above time.

What is going to happen during a session?

  • During a session you will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn from everyone in the group and share your journey as your feel comfortable.
  • You will also have a 1:1 with your specialist nurse for your personalised care review.

What are the benefits/opportunities for me?

  • Learn some new techniques to improve your lifestyle and health condition.
  • Opportunity to have a better understanding of your health condition.
  • Empower each other to improve our lifestyles.
  • Potential to meet specialists such as GP’s, pharmacists and other professionals who can help and support you.

  • Call the surgery and tell our staff that you are interested in taking part. Alternatively, reply to the message you received and tell us that you would like to take part.
